House Blessings

“A House is made of walls and beams, a Home is made of Hopes and Dreams.”

All of us deserve a warm and cozy nest to call “home”. Inviting friends and family into your new home, apartment, condo or vacation home to Bless the New Space and create a gathering of love and good wishes can be a wonderful anchoring for a friend or family’s future. The Blessing may be as informal as a piece of music, a story or stories, and/or a poetry filled gathering. A reflection of other cultures that have found a new home in the owner’s heart, such as the Native American practice of Sage Burning, Smudging and Salting throughout the abode may be included. Toasts, house warming gifts and joyous hopes and dreams shared by friends and family can make this time complete. The “ceiling” is not the limit in the many ways such a Blessing can take shape and form!
